This workshop covers everything you should know about the college application process.   Topics include:  Small college vs. large university,   What the schools really consider when looking over the college application, writing an essay and what to include, financial aid, safety on the college campus and more!

Computer Kindergarten for Grownups!

This is a slow-paced, user-friendly workshop for first-time computer users. Using laptop computers, this unique class covers the basics in a way that even the most inexperienced user will understand. We will cover turning the computer on, the Windows desktop, using the mouse, opening programs, understanding windows elements, inputting text and saving a file, and turning the computer off.  There is a refundable $5.00 deposit required at registration.

In this class you will learn about the history of the ceramic art form, with its Moorish influenced design and its specific color palate.  The participants will recreate patterns out of clay that translate into “cool’ art (jewelry) pieces.  Great gift you’ll be proud to give for the holidays!
